The Vintage

The Vintage isn't afraid to experiment when it comes to coffee. They work directly with coffee farmers around the world to source beans with new and exciting flavor profiles for their house-made blends. For example, their signature Gold Blend mixes Colombian, Guatemalan, and Ethiopian beans for a rich chocolate-forward roast with just a hint of citrus.  

All the coffee they serve is fair trade and micro-roasted in-house in batches of 6 pounds or less. You can order a cup of their brew of the day for as little as $2.50 or choose one of their espresso-based drinks for a more powerful pick-me-up.  

Piety & Desire Chocolate

You've never had a hot chocolate like the kind you'll get at Piety Desire and Chocolate. This high-end confectionery makes all its chocolate in-house, using single-origin cacao beans sourced from around the world.  

Their drinking chocolate is one of their most popular menu items, combining bold and complex flavor with a lusciously thick and creamy texture. It comes in three varieties: 

• Classic, a blend of three dark chocolates from around the world 
• Peppermint, a cool twist on the Classic version 
• Cajun, a version spiced with black pepper, paprika, cayenne, and other traditional Cajun spices 

All three are made with pure cacao, cocoa butter, and cane sugar, so they're vegan when ordered with non-dairy milk.  

The Station

The Station's name is a nod to the building's past life as a Cities Service gas station. The shop now serves premium coffee and baked goods under its bright purple roof.  

You can get your standard espressos, cappuccinos, and lattes here, but they also offer specialty coffee made using innovative brewing techniques. If you've ever wanted to try French press, Chemex, or V60 coffee, now's your chance. Don't forget to try one of their delicious pastries while you're there, too – according to our team, the twisty buns are to die for.  

Pirate King Coffee

It's hard not to smile when ordering a cup of coffee at Pirate King Coffee. Named in tribute to famous New Orleans pirate Jean Lafitte, this cafe goes all-out on its pirate theming with a skull and crossbones logo, decor inspired by a ship's hold, and even some real historical artifacts from the city's smuggling heyday.  

They serve a wide variety of hot and iced coffee drinks, including: 

• Cappucinos 
• Macchiatos 
• Lattes 
• Mochas 
• Cafe au lait 

Every coffee order with foam comes with optional latte art. Alternative milks are available for a $1.25 upcharge.

Cafe du Monde

Cafe du Monde is New Orleans' most famous coffee shop, boasting a history that stretches all the way back to 1862. Locals and tourists alike love them for their distinctive chicory coffee and irresistibly snackable beignets. 

You can get their coffee hot or iced, regular or decaf, and with or without milk.
