Assisted Living in Louisiana

The state of Louisiana ranks 17th overall and fourth in senior living and housing according to our 2024 Senior Living Report. This is good news for seniors aged 65 and older who make up 15.9% of the state's population, which is about average for the country. The U.S. Census Bureau predicts that residents aged 60 and over will make up 25% of the population by the year 2030, increasing the need for assisted living facilities in cities throughout the Pelican State.
