- NOLAxNOLA 2025 - Various locations
Enjoy an exciting start to New Orleans Music Month during a week-and-a-half of shows and concerts that make up the fifth annual NOLAxNOLA 2025. From 9/25-10/5, 300+ shows featuring local and national acts will be appearing at more than 50 locations such as The Broadside, d.b.a. Music, and iconic Preservation Hall. Other events include NOLAxNOLA Talks, a series of panel discussions on relevant themes such as "Curating, Loving, and Caring for Historical Musical Spaces in New Orleans." Celebrate this classic comfort food at the seventh annual National Fried Chicken Festival, featured on USA Today's 10 Best List of "Specialty Food Festivals in the Nation." In addition to 40+ restaurants competing in various chicken-centric categories, the festival boasts live entertainment, a car show, and a 5K run/walk to help burn off those calories. Mark your calendar for 10/4-10/5 from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Tickets start at $15 for one day and $25 for two days, with VIP packages available.
- Oktoberfest 2025 - Deutsches Haus, 1700 Moss St., New Orleans, LA 70119
Oktoberfest 2025 is right around the corner as well! For three weekends in October, Deutsches Haus becomes a super-sized beer garden with more than 20 German varieties, as well as nine wines and 20 types of schnapps. Dine on bratwurst, sauerkraut, Bavarian-style pretzels, and other traditional German food. Entertainment is courtesy of a lively band, while visitors can test their skill in a beer stein-holding contest. Festivities take place on the second, third, and fourth weekends in October from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is $10 for ages 13 and up.

Join family and friends while making new acquaintances at Gentilly Fest, an event designed to promote community ties and economic growth in one of NOLA's diverse neighborhoods. The festival also provides financial support to first responders as well as local recreational and cultural non-profits. Highlights of the family-friendly event include live entertainment, food vendors, and artisan booths, along with an activity-packed Kids' Village. Hours are 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. on 10/10, noon - 9 p.m. on 10/11, and noon - 8 p.m. on 10/12. Admission is free for all guests.
- Art for Art's Sake - Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70115
Art for Art's Sake turns a spotlight on the creative vibes around New Orleans. Stroll along the six-mile stretch of Magazine Street in the charming Garden District and explore upwards of 100 participating shops, restaurants, and galleries. Many businesses will have extended hours and special offers, and Breaux Mart will provide complimentary wine samples, all against a backdrop of live music. Art for Art's Sake takes place from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. on 10/4 and admission is free.
