  The playhouse is open from 9 AM to 5 PM all day during the week, but closed on weekends. Tickets cost $14 per child with a 10% discount for additional kids after the first one. Tickets cost $29.12 per person with a discount for military personnel. • Lafayette Science Museum - 433 Jefferson Street, Lafayette, LA 70501 
  The Lafayette Science Museum is packed with educational activities and displays that will delight curious kids and adults alike. They've got exhibits on insects, space flight, nanotechnology, paleontology, and more, all presented in an accessible and engaging way that helps youngsters connect with the material. There are also special presentations that are held at specific times in certain areas of the museum. Most are free to attend with the purchase of a general admission ticket.   The museum is open from 9 AM to 6 PM Wednesday through Friday, from 10 AM to 6 PM on Saturdays, and from 1 PM to 6 PM on Sundays. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $12 for seniors aged 65 and up, and $10 for kids aged 15 and under. Kids under 2 get in for free. You can also purchase a year-long museum membership for $65 per person. 
  
  
• Kart Ranch – 508 Youngsville Highway, Lafayette, LA 70508
  Kids can't decide what they want to do? Kart Ranch is a self-described family fun center that will keep them entertained all weekend long. Their go-kart and kiddie-kart tracks offer fast-driving fun for even the youngest members of the family, but there's much more to do after you step off the racetrack. From Water Wars and Castle Clash facilities to batting cages, a laser tag arena, a mini golf course, bumper boats, and an indoor playground and arcade, there's something for everyone at this location. 
  
  Attractions at Kart Ranch are individually ticketed, so you'll need to decide which activities you'd like to do before you can figure out how to budget for your trip. They're open from 10 AM to 9 PM Sunday to Thursday and from 10 AM to 10 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.
