Rhythms on the River is a free outdoor concert series offered every year at River Ranch Town Square, featuring both well-known and emerging bands. There are two six-week Rhythms on the River series each year, one in the spring and one for the fall season. You'll find two concerts left on the fall schedule, including Rhythms on the River: GTO, which takes place on October 17, 2024. The free concert typically lasts from 5:30 PM to around 8:30 PM, starting with a great opening act to get you in the mood for live music. -

Next up for the Rhythms on the River concert series is Rhythms on the River: LA ROXX, which you can look forward to on October 24, 2024, with the same starting and ending time as the GTO concert. The Bach Lunch series is another great spring/fall series of free concerts in Lafayette, and there's still time to catch the end of the fall series at Parc Sans Souci. Bach Lunch Featuring Julian Primeaux is scheduled for October 18, 2024, with live music starting at 12:00 PM. Feeling hungry? Food will begin being served at around 11:00 AM, so it's worth arriving early to enjoy a delicious meal and find the perfect place on the lawn to set up shop for the concert. -
Shake Your Trail Feather Paddle Parade – 120 St. Bernard St., Breaux Bridge, LA 70517
Held every year just outside Lafayette in Breaux Bridge, the Shake Your Trail Feather Paddle Parade is a truly unique event and concert experience. While you paddle in your kayak down the Bayou Teche National Paddle Trail, you'll be accompanied by two bands on decorated barges playing live music. It all takes place on October 19, 2024, with a free lunch and concert in the park after the parade.
