Sound Bite Open Mic is a weekly event sponsored by Gator Cove, the home of Wildcat Brothers Brewing. The Wildcat Brothers flavor is built around craft rum using local sugarcane. The Open Mic happens between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday nights. Cajun Jam is taking place every week in September and October on Sundays at Bayou Teche Brewing. Bayou Teche is one of the area's most popular craft breweries, and Cajun Jam calls in local talent for a fun afternoon of the best Cajun music. It happens between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. and is completely free to attend. While there, you can savor the latest sips from the brewery, along with cafe food and food truck fare.
