Going out for a delicious brunch is the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion, spend time with friends and family, or just treat yourself after a long week of hard work. Our real estate agents often visit local brunch restaurants after closing a deal on one of our New Orleans homes for sale. Here are some of the local brunch spots they find themselves coming back to again and again.  

  • Lux Cafe - 935 Gravier Street, New Orleans, LA 70112 
    Lux Café offers all your indulgent brunch favorites at affordable prices. Their pancakes, waffles, and French toast are their most popular menu items, but you can also get burgers, po-boys, omelettes, eggs Benedict, and more. Their signature dish is their Lux Wake-Up Call, an entrée that pairs two eggs and some bacon with a side of skillet potatoes and a serving of fresh tomato salad.  

  • Café Fleur de Lis – 301 Chartres Street, New Orleans, LA 70130 
    Cafe Fleur de Lis serves classic brunch food like pancakes and eggs Benedict alongside Louisiana staples like gumbo and po-boys. Their seafood dishes are especially good, highlighting the fresh local fish and shrimp they purchase directly from local vendors. They also have a gorgeous second-story patio with umbrellas over each table – perfect for enjoying the morning sun while you eat.  

  • Willa Jean - 611 O'Keefe Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70113 
    Willa Jean is a Southern-style brunch spot best known for their biscuits, cookies, and pastries. Try one of their biscuit sandwiches with a side of fresh fruit for a lighter morning meal that will still feel like a treat. You might even have room to try a warm plate of their famous chocolate chip cookies for dessert! 

  • Broussard's Restaurant and Courtyard - 819 Conti Street, New Orleans, LA 70112 
    Broussard's serves a jazz brunch with live music every weekend. Their menu features upscale versions of French-Creole dishes like Creole turtle soup, Lyonnaise potatoes, and crawfish tails. We're big fans of their Eggs Josephine, a combination of poached eggs, crab cakes, and creamed spinach smothered in a rich Béarnaise sauce. If you want drinks to go with your food, you can add bottomless rosé or mimosas to any entree order for an additional fee.

  • Palm and Pine - 308 N Rampart Street, New Orleans, LA 70112 
    Palm and Pine blends traditional Louisiana cuisine with Caribbean, Mexican, and South American influences to create a one-of-a-kind brunch menu. Whether you prefer spicy snacks like their blistered shishitos, sweet treats like their peaches and cream cinnamon roll, or enticing entrees like their cornmeal fried snapper, you're sure to leave with a full belly and a happy heart.
